Sheen refers to the light reflectivity of the painted or varnished surface. There are varying degrees of paint sheen, from no shine to high gloss. From lowest to highest, sheens correspond to these reflective degrees: flat finish, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, gloss, and high gloss finish.

Pressure cleaning of surfaces, new and old, is required to remove dirt, mildew, and peeling paint – anything to which new paint will adhere. We strongly recommend you supervise the interior of your home during pressure cleaning as water intrusion is possible.
We typically do not recommend painting over wallpaper. However, if you choose to, there are many issues to consider. The seams may not lie down properly. Moisture from the paint could cause blistering or peeling. Over a heavy vinyl the paint’s adhesion may be minimal. The texture from the wallpaper may not look very good on a solid wall. Note that the seams may be visible in some areas.
Gutter covers work on the scientific principle of water adhesion or centrifugal force. The design allows water to enter the gutter while keeping leaves and debris out. They can be custom-fit to any home and adjusted to any roof pitch.
This varies, depending on the environment. Generally, it’s a good idea to have gutters checked and cleaned once a year. In houses surrounded by trees, it may be necessary to clean out gutters twice a year. Veteran’s Painting Plus, Inc. offers a full service gutter cleaning.
